All right, it's time to get up, stretch your legs and chase cars...if you're into that sort of thing. In other words, get involved!

We realize that many people don't get involved because they aren't aware of the opportunities. Well, now's your chance. Check out the wonderful list below and enjoy.

Canine Musical Freestyle - get you and your dog moving to the music.

Canine Freestyle Federation - Canine Freestyle is a choreographed performance organized with music, illustrating the training and joyful relationship of a dog and handler team.

Musical Dog Sport Association - Created by freestylers for freestylers, the Musical Dog Sport Association (MDSA) was formed to advance the sport of canine freestyle and to share the joy of the canine and human bond achieved through positive training, enhanced by the artistry of music and choreography.

World Canine Freestyle - "Musical Freestyle" is a choreographed musical program performed by handlers and their dogs. The object of musical freestyle is to display the dog and handler in a creative, innovative and original dance, using music and intricate movements to showcase teamwork, artistry, costuming, athleticism and style in interpreting the theme of the music.

The Mixed Breed Dog Clubs of America (MBDCA) - Owners of mixed breeds can enjoy the thrill of competing for titles in obedience, conformation, tracking and much more. The MBDCA is a national registry for mixed breeds, providing many of the same opportunities that the American Kennel Club (AKC) offers for purebreds.

North American Mixed Breed Registry
- NAMBR provides the mixed breed dog owner with an equal opportunity to earn titles in these disciplines through NAMBR sanctioned Obedience Trials and Tracking Tests. This compliments activities such as a Flyball and Agility, where there is no distinction between the pure and not so pure bred.

PetFit - All right, let's face it, we could all lose a few pounds...even our pets. This web site has tons of cool videos, incentives and fun things that you can do with your pet to shed those unwanted pounds.

Therapy Animals of Utah - We specialize in training and supervising skilled handler/animal teams who work closely with the professional staff of care-giving facilities sponsoring animal-assisted therapy (AAT) and animal-assisted activity (AAA) programs.

Intermountain Therapy Animals - The ITA volunteer program provides carefully screened therapy animals and handlers who work with human service and health care professionals to serve those in need. We work with children and adults who are physically, developmentally, or emotionally disabled, as well as others who can benefit from the unique qualities that interaction with an animal can provide. Members of Intermountain Therapy Animals are trained to provide pet-facilitated therapy in hospitals, mental institutions, nursing facilities, detention homes, extended care centers, and schools.

CATalyst Council - The CATalyst Purpose addresses our desire to change society�s image of cats as aloof and not needing human contact or care. Our Vision is to raise the level of care and welfare of cats by cat owners � one that any owner will embrace through the human-animal bond and can achieve � supported by the highest quality veterinary care, preventative medicine, and cat specific products.

Community Animal Welfare Society
Be a foster family! CAWS volunteers give of their time and effort within Utah communities along the Wasatch Front, to provide animal welfare outreach, including animal rescue and a sliding-income-scale spay / neuter / vaccinate program for pets. We do not have a shelter facility, so we go directly to the people, and the animals in need.

Dog owners can share memories of canine cancer and survivor stories at Curecaninecancer.org. Go to "Why Hope" and click "Memories & Survivor Stories." Morris Animal Foundation operates the site in conjunction with its Canine Cancer Campaign. You can also make donations to help cure cancer.

United Animal Nations - The mission of United Animal Nations is to bring animals out of crisis and strengthen the bond between people and animals through emergency sheltering, disaster relief services, financial assistance and education. UAN accomplishes its mission by engaging volunteers and supporters, collaborating with others and maximizing the use of online technology.

Volunteers welcome dogs into their homes; they act as program ambassadors; they help stuff envelopes and stay caught up on filing. If you want to give your time, there's no shortage of ways to help. Click here for more information.

To end the killing of cats and lead the movement for their humane care. Vision Society living non-violently with cats and all animals.
